Happiness Hub launch a great success

Last night we held our first Happiness Hub Social Group at The Granary Arts Cafe and we're delighted to welcome fourteen people, who all came along to find out about activities in the town, and learn how to improve their happiness and wellbeing.

Whilst we kept Derice busy with preparing coffees, teas and most importantly cake, the other Nantwich Buddies and I were able to chat to everyone to find out why they'd come along and what they'd like to learn and hear more about.

It was great to meet people who'd lived in Nantwich for most of their lives and also people from further afield, who had recently moved to the area and want to meet people and find out more about what goes on in our little town and the surrounding area.

Once everyone had been served their refreshments and found a spot to sit we did introductions and shared with everyone our hopes and vision for the group. We chatted about how we'd love everyone to get involved with the weekly sessions and asked attendees what they wanted to hear or know more about, and also if there were things that they wanted to share that would benefit the group too.

It really was a joy to see so many people walk through the doors of the cafe and chat and connect with everyone. Because that's whats it's all about!

Feedback about the evening has already been fab, not only from attendees but all the Buddies who came down to help make the evening a success. Liz Parkin, Buddies founder and Happiness Hub host said:

"I really enjoyed the night and loved everyone's very positive feedback!"

Julie Massen one of the newest volunteers to the Buddies, and who last night found new skills in torch navigation said:

"The feedback was so encouraging. A very positive and warm atmosphere was generated."

We can't wait till the next one! If you'd like to come along, let us know and sign up below: www.happinesshubuk.org/join-the-happiness-hub
